Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of Jesus, a baby born of Heaven, a savior destined for the cross, a friend to the weary sinner.

Help me to know you better and feel You close.

Let Your love shine through me.

Let Your peace inhabit my heart and my home.

Take my life and let it be an offering of love and service to You.

Guide me and guard me as Christmas gives way to a new year.

I dedicate all that lies ahead to You, trusting that You know the plans You have for me and that they are good.
